Account Registration
Since the vast majority of secondary schools in New Zealand use gmail as their email provider we have opted to use gmail accounts as a way to register with the site. If your school doesn’t use gmail as their provider, or you are from a company don’t worry simply create a normal gmail account and use that to login to the website and register the participants for the event. Here is the link to the google site on setting up a gmail account: Create a Gmail account Now that you have a gmail account let’s continue.
Pick your gmail account
Almost there, we just need some additional data that google can’t supply us with like
what city your school or place of work is, make sure we have the correct given name
(that is your first and last name), what is your job title, name of your school or place of
work and your school address. When done please click on the “Next” button.
Click on the “Don’t show this again” and “Yes”
You will now be signed into the Culinary fare website.
Wait, what if I wasn’t signed into my gmail account. No problem, when prompted to sign
in just click on the “Sign in with Google”
Pick your account from the list, click Next, put in your google password
Type in your password and click Next
Fill in the extra details as mentioned earlier in the document and continue from there.
Security Note
Please note Wintec doesn’t capture or store your google password. Wintec is actually
using google as a trusted partner. Basically you login to google and Wintec states that if
google is happy that you are who you say you are then we will accept that you are who
you say you are and can get access to the culinary fare website
